Eric Lamont Jordan was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on July 25, 1972 to Richard and Yvonne Jordan. Eric’s grandmother Marvelene Jordan would always say “God is going to bless you because you are earnest.” Eric and his brother Desmond started their church during their childhood. He spent hours playing church with his childhood friends and neighbors; everyone was given a position in the church.
He is widely known in his neighborhood as the “hood’s Pastor”, Eric will stop at a moment’s notice to pray for someone or provide some inspirational words. Eric’s church has no walls or pews it is wherever the people need him – in their homes, on buses, in hospitals to name a few. Eric’s nickname is Bishop which occurred while coming in contact with the masses and spreading the Word.
Eric became a member at Haven United Methodist Church at the age of 12 years old where he participated in every aspect of the church. His positions included acolyte, usher, Sunday School teacher choir member, kitchen aid, and a youth minister.
Eric is a graduate of Murrell Dobbins High school where he majored in culinary arts. He has attended the Culinary School of Arts at Drexel University. Eric took pastoral classes at Deliverance Evangelistic Church in Philadelphia, PA.

In February 2006, Eric was a founding member of The Philadelphia Prayer Clinic Church. He became the Co-Pastor of the church which was an easy choice.
Co-Pastor Eric Jordan’s Life Scripture: Isaiah 61:1 (NIV), The Year of the LORD’s Favor – “The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me, because the LORD has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners.”
